The weather was perfect for this fall engagement session at Latta Plantation!
Location: Camp North End
Jetton Park has been a very popular spot with my couples lately. I can't blame them with the sandy beach and lake right on the edges of the woods! Andrew, Leia, and I walked around the area on Sunday and spent a lot of time on the sun-bathed beach. The spring lighting was just gorgeous! I love that the light stays around longer now and can't wait for a lot more sessions coming up this wedding season!
On Friday, we were anticipating rain and clouds for Kylie & John's session on Saturday. When we got to Anne Springs Greenway, the sun was out and it was beautiful! I am so glad the weather turned out perfect because it matched Kylie & John perfectly. I had so much fun watching them laugh and be in love during their session! An added bonus: the peach blossoms were in full bloom!
I held my first photography workshop last weekend and I had a blast! It was a small group but I think that allowed us to spend time on specific questions. I wanted to give my workshop attendees lots of practical shooting time so they could execute what we had talked about. Ashley & Josh, whose wedding I shot a year ago, agreed to be my models! It was overcast on their wedding day and apparently the weather wanted to celebrate that on their anniversary too!

Guys, I love when my couples choose a location that is unique and special to them! This is Zack's grandparent's home in Fort Mill. He grew up running around and climbing the huge oak trees and they had their engagement party here. I was so excited when they told me that that is where they wanted to do their session! Enjoy looking at some moments we captured tonight at the house.
